I'm still in my hobby funk. School has a good 45-50 hours a week occupied. I've GMed/played in exactly 1 game since Council Fires. Any extra time I have I spend doing nothing(which is always a nice change from my hectic school schedule).

Hopefully in the summer I'll be able to get back to it.

I am thinking of collecting some of the Perry twins excellent plastic halbadier and bowmen kits. In light of this article, is there a 'man-at-arms' range, of heavily armoured infantry, that you would consider to go well with them (other than the Perry twins own miniatures of course)?

Did I forget it, or are we really discovering Andalonia and its army? For sure we'd like to learn more about both (including the origin of all these troops in typical boina)!

Your vision of a 'a-temporal' campaign appears to be perfectly sound. Along the same lines when (in a different context) I started advocating "battles by proxy" for 18th C. Imagi-Nations rulers it was clear that the game played by the 'neutral third party' could well use unpainted cow-boys and indians or even only pieces of card representing the 'footprint' of the units. As long as the action can be 'translated back' to the OOB furnished by the two sides for the final 'battle report', the intermediate details are irrelevant.

I am just painting these figures myself. Hopefully...

I also got company b decals. Is the eagle decal company b? My set seems like the top of the eagle has some black and not white. It looks like a mistake to me.

Did you do anything special with yours are were they fine when you got them?

What a fantastic post! I love the very deep effect of the shell craters you have achieved. The overall effect looks awesome. Next, I am really impressed with the fabric base-cloth, especially the way in which the PVA glue was sprayed onto the cloth, and then the scatter and static grass added. That's simple, but looks really impressive. Finally, a great AAR, with some top photos. Splendid stuff.

I Just got my Köztársaság Pandour regiment, and the rest of my Grenadiers and Cuirassier. Just need to get them painted. Easier sad then done since I've been in a spectacular painting funk for the last 2 months. I've only painted 16 infantry and 3 tanks in that time!!
